Friday Evening Book Reviews

DenofGeek.com reviews the impressively titled, 500 ESSENTIAL GRAPHIC NOVELS, and says it lives up to its name without inner-sanctum snobbery.

A book of book reviews, or at least of book categorizations, Hallie Ephron’s 1001 BOOKS FOR EVERY MOOD, makes an appearance in the Boston Globe’s online book section.

The Atlantic posts a guide to upcoming releases.

Curtis Sittenfeld’s muses via novel on how the life of a First Lady unfolds in AMERICAN WIFE.

And The Denver Post recaps notable debut novels.

I don’t know… that book for every mood book…. seems so pointless.

A book made up of a list of books?

At best, that book is worth a one minute browse in the store but I can’t see anyone buying it.

How much do you think she got paid for that? (Seriously)
