My first and probably still my favorite horror short story. Nobody could have performed it better than Vincent Price.
Thank you, William.

I can’t wait to watch this. One of my favorite stories.
But it’s halftime and the Cardinals are tugging on my favor because (I can’t believe I’m saying this) they just look so damned good.
Nice to know that I’ve dessert waiting for me, whatever playoff veggies I have to eat today. Go Pittsburgh!

And why does it take my breath away that we’re 200 years removed from Poe?

i think because, despite some of the traditional formalism of his poetry, his innovations in telling detective stories and his pre-freudian insights into the raw elements of human psychology just don’t seem that dated.

I finally got to watch it. That was just terrific. Great find. And now I miss Vincent Price, too.
