I actually wrote an article here on AuthorScoop about Card's opinions on sexual morality and his vision of how things should be to accommodate those opinions (and ultimately what that might mean for his career.)  I strongly disagree with him.  Enough that my lip curled when I came across this quote.

But you know what? When he's right, he's right.  And this quote was quite right.  I have not yet read any of his work, but I know he's hugely popular.  It's a moral quandary of my own, to decide (or not) to patronize an artist who offends me when he's not plying his art.

But even a broken clock is right twice a day.  I like the quote.</description>
