Hi John, great timing! I'm actually free during my lunch hour to address your post, and thank you for your interest in my profiled article. I welcome your comments, concerns, compliments, or even your complaints... and hope that you are not overwhelmed with explaining my PVQs (Professional Vocational Qualifications) in response to your accusations. Believe me, I've heard it before and some of my harshest critics have become my strongest supporters. I was even asked to speak recently at George Mason University for "Writing Across the Media" program, please see PRESSedent.com and click 'Education Forums' or 'Journalism Case Study' to learn more. My 'background is backwards' and unconventional in many ways, so confusion by the conventional reader is only natural and I do recognize your misunderstanding my life's progression over the years.

I attended European School of Economics in Lucca Italy after the program was approved by Department of Education, Department of Veterans Affairs, funded by the Montgomery GI Bill. I previously served in the US Army in Italy at SETAF (Southern European Task Force) as a soldier and then was honorably discharged, then I worked for the government as a DAC (Department of Army Civilian) for 6yrs and stayed in Europe working in IT career path, finally using my remaining military education benefits so I applied to ESE and the program was approved under the 2003 International Studies in Higher Education (ISHEA). The school's website is www.UniESE.it if you'd like to learn more, and what got me excited most was learning that Economic Nobel Prize Laureates award the undergraduate/graduate degrees in person! Mine was personally awarded to me by 2001 Recipient Dr. Michael Spence, as well as Nicholas Negroponte from MIT was a guest speaker there as well on Lake Como in October 2004. My thesis focused on emerging markets in developing countries, and the competitive edge of knowledge based economies... which illustrated economic research was the basis for what would later become annual hardcover books (or yearbooks) for different countries around the world, and Michaele Salahi was one of the MCs at my book launch "BEST OF DC: 'Defining Change' in American Leadership" at National Press Club - here's the link for the online eBook;

Best regards,

Matt Davis is a complete fraud. His "degree" from the European School of Economics was handed to him by a postal service employee! (He paid for it online and I don't mean that he studied online.) He proudly admits to being friends with the Salahis (White House crashers) because he is desperate to get his name out there. The man is a JOKE!
