The Washington Post wasn’t necessarily mesmerized by ever aspect of Jere Van Dyke’s CAPTIVE: MY TIME AS A PRISONER OF THE TALIBAN, but the review is still a net positive one.

Evan Thomas lays out history from the angle of THE WAR LOVERS: ROOSEVELT, LODGE, HEARST, AND THE RUSH TO EMPIRE, 1898 and Daniel Ruddy is also turned by Teddy Roosevelt and compiles the man’s own words to produce, THEODORE ROOSEVELT’S HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.

And Fangoria Magazine has a giggle at a new spoof by ‘Harrison Geillor’, THE ZOMBIES OF LAKE WOEBEGOTTEN.
